Tryouts FAQ

Where is Dynamic Games located?
662 Hwy 211 NW in Winder, GA. Go North from Winder on Hwy 211 about 3 miles . DGS is on the right through the gate. If you get to the red light you have gone too far.

What will it cost?
Field fees and all day air fees will be waived on the day of tryouts. You will be responsible for buying your own paint. Paint must be purchased at DGS. Feel free to stay around after tryouts and play the rest of the day.

Do I need my own equipment?
To play on a team you will need your own equipment (marker, hopper, tank, mask, etc.). If you don't already have equipment for tryouts, don't worry. Equipment will be available for you to use at tryouts. We suggest you not purchase any new equipment until after tryouts. We can help you obtain the proper equipment at better prices.

How many teams are you looking to fill?
We are looking to fill our beginner team Dynamic Kids for 2009. This will be an entirely new roster of 8 to 10 players. We are looking to fill our all girls team GALvanized. This team will mostly be new for 2009, but there may be one or two former players. We also have a D4 team which may need one or two experienced players. If there are additional interested and qualified players then we may add additional teams.

What tournament series do you plan to play in?
Typically our teams play in the Carolina Field Owners Association (CFOA) tournament series.

GFOA may also be an option. Normally we play 5 Man format. There may also be a 3 Man series for 2009.

When does the season start?
The first tournament is usually the last weekend in February and the season runs through World Cup in October. Usually one tournament per month and at least one mandatory practice per month.

Do I need a parent at tryouts?
If you are under 18 years old you will need a parent to sign your waiver form. You can download the waiver form here. Your parents will need to understand the commitment required to play on a paintball team so they will probably have lots of questions.
